heater blower

hi folks

im new to this forum

my 2005 hdis heater fan has stopped working on all levels, how do i access the blower itself? i know its a common problem, i know its located behind glovebox but how do i get at the dam thing lol?

Get to it from underneath, pull the caret down, three screws holding it in.

6mm headed self tappers on mine.

They should be 6mm bolts you can remove with a standard rachet set.

I'm stuck with this... I took my blower apart from a 02 berlingo multispace. There is no transistor pack inside it. The blower only works on the highest speed setting, 4.

Is the transistor pack/heat sink thing hidden somewhere else?

My 2003 2.0 hDi does exactly the same (stuck on 4), and I've just bought a new resistor which hope to fit over the weekend...

Thanks. Ive taken the blower motor out but there is no transistor pack attached. I assume by all the pictures I've seen it should be attached to the motor housing??
