Starter Motor
#1
Question
Hi all, I'm hoping to change the starter motor on my 2009 1.6 Petrol and have seem some useful videos on YouTube making it look doable for the DIYer, however, all the videos I've come across so far are on diesel engines. Does any know if the starter motor is in the same location on both petrol and diesel? Thanks in advance

If by same position, you mean 'bl**dy difficult to reach on the back of the engine', then yes.

Ahhh, this is why I'm only hoping, for a straight swap of a part it does seem complex. Thanks
