Hello fellows! I'm getting crazy about the location of the common rail sensor.
I mean, I know where he is and I've tried to reach him but to no success.
I disassembled the battery and its plate, removed the plastic air vent, but I can't reach the needle. Also I tried from the bottom of the car but can't find it, and so I removed the heavy plate under the engine for nothing.
My Berlingo is a B9 XTR 92cv, year 2011.
I need this information because I would like to install a module chip.
Many thanks in advance!

Hi there, please post in English on the forum. If you would edit your post, and put English language, that would be most appreciated. As beautiful as the Italian language is, we need to stick to English for all users.
Grazie mille!

I wrote in English but the automatic translator made me a trick ?
Sorry about that.

Hi there, nice to hear from you again! The common rail pressure sensor is very hard to reach as you have found. I also bought a "tuning box" years ago and never got around to fitting it as the sensor was so hard to reach. Silly place to put it, but that's the French logic. I believe it can be reached by removal of the battery, battery tray and air filter (to let light in) plus a metal bracket which prevents access to the sensor until removed, and I did find a good description of the process, I will.post it here for you to read:

There is also DTUK's PDI Pulse Modulation System, this is the type which modifies the injector duration. It is not cheap but does not require access to the common rail sensor.

thanks a lot mate, so it means that I'm not so impeded... I've dismantled also the plate under the battery, I've placed the phone trying to record a video, but it is very difficult to find the sensor and if you find it it will be hard to disconnect it. What stops me is, if i have a problem with the module, i don't know, maybe it stop working, it will be impossible to remove it quickly to continue the journey. So finally i will go to remap the unit, at least this post will be a good advice that it is better to save money and don't buy those module if you think to make the job by yourself in an easy way.

No, not even the mechanic at the workshop. We see putting the car on the bridge, that is a very hard point to reach and in case of need, to remove it "on the road" it is closely impossible. Same from the top of the engine.

That last poster was from the USA and they are always scammers or spammers. I have removed them. No Citroen vehicles have been sold in the USA since 1974 so there cannot be Berlingo owners there, anywhere in the US.
To remove the box quickly you would need to extend the harness from the rail sensor, but a remap is a much better option for many reasons.

I've got a blue spark unit and it was impossible to fit, I did look at the dtuk unit which needs no faffery but it was dearer than a remap.
There was a taxi owner on here back in 2015 who fitted the dtuk PDI kit and swore by it. Now a remap is about £230 round my way, and the PDI kit was nearer £400, then the remap was a no brainer. Haven't got round to getting it done yet and am planning to replace the van as soon as I can so probably won't bother now
