Hi All,
Have not posted in some time, but too busy with work.
The alternator of my 1.6HDi M59 2007 (no aircon) packed up a bit, so decided to replace it. I have undone the two guide/roller pulleys that hold the two bolts on the alternator, but wanted to make sure that I will have the correct torque when putting them back on. Reading the workshop manual for my 9HXC engine, these bolts seems to be torqued to 45Nm. Seems quite a bit for these pulley bolts.
Can anyone confirm that these are 45Nm?
In addition, on taking the v belt off, it was labelled as 6PK1350, where any belts I can find that fit my 1.6HDi, no aircon, are all 6PK1353. It was not replaced by me and probably 2-3mm do not make that much of a difference.
Many thanks for any help, more than appreciated!
