[Brakes] Problème ABS
#1

Hello, I would like to come and ask for help because I am a little overwhelmed.
I have a Berlingo B9 with a default "ESP/ASR faulty" "ABS faulty" dashboard.

Following rear right and rear left ABS sensor fault diagbox replacement:
-rear right rear left ABS sensor
-disc with rear right rear left ABS target
-rewiring the ABS sensor to the ABS computer.
-replacement of the ABS computer

Then ironing diagbox the defects are still present:
Fault on the engine computer:
-U1213 (one of the parameters present in a frame sent by ABS/ESP is invalid)
Fault on the ABS computer:
-C1335 right rear wheel speed sensor signal fault.
(From time to time there is a left rear sensor fault)
-C139D longitudinal acceleration sensor calibration fault: impossible.

I completely reconnected the sensors because there was a cut wire in one place so to be sure I preferred to change the cables.

I don't know where to look anymore, does anyone have any ideas???
Is there a hidden fuse or relay....

Hi. Here is the diagram for the Engine fusebox - several fuses are involved.

So you have an automatic gearbox? The code U1213 is only used on autos and is loss of communication with the ABS & ESP controller - no CANBUS data. Twisted pair of wires is CANBUS, usually red and white but can be brown and white or blue and white depending on which bus it is.

Check the fuses first, especially the MF ones under the top of the main fuse box.

ABS problem solved (fault in a connection plug)

I still have the ESP/ASR problem
-C139D longitudinal acceleration sensor calibration fault: impossible
Any ideas
It seems to me that this fault appeared after replacing the ABS computer.
Maybe it needs to be telecoded?

You could be correct, I have a similar code and my ESP does not work (well no traction control and switching ESP off has no effect, no dashboard led lights up with the skidding car symbol) so I suspect mine has been changed and not telecoded, however my vehicle cannot be coded using Diagbox because after 2015 vehicle year, it is all online function with PSA only, you cannot do this yourself. It needs a dealer system.

For that reason I just put up with the code and there are no fault lights, just the code when I scan.

Maybe one day I'll get it resolved. Having working traction control would be nice.

What year is your vehicle? Maybe you can do it if it's before the 2015 model.

I have the light on the dashboard.  My vehicle is from 2014.

Then you can use Diagbox 7.62 to recode the ABS controller I expect, I have never tried that but it should work. There are differences between the various models of ABS unit, some have ESP, some don't, some have hill hold, some don't. Some have traction control, some don't.

Your ABS replacement would have needed to be the exact same part numbers and firmware version as the one you had to begin with. Or programming it will likely fail.

When I identify the ABS computer on diagbox all the information is identical.
The reference 265 951 952 on the calculator is identical.
Only the numbers on the second part are different. But I was told that the first 9 numbers must be identical.

Mmm not sure about that. I'm certain all numbers must match for it to be the same ability.
