Replacing wings
#1
Good evening all

I have just bought a 2008 Berlingo to do up for my son in law so will probably be posting loads of questions picking your brains so please excuse me if some of the questions seem daft

Any help you can give would be much appreciated

First question is front arches are in a bit of a bad way so I thought I’d buy a couple of second hand wings and replace them BUT is replacing these doable for someone with limited experience?

Cheers

Welcome to the forum ,

As for your wings , if they are bolted on then no problems , just unbolt then bolt on the new ones.
The last on I did I also used some mastic/sticky stuff on the seams as well as the bolts, don't know if it made any difference or not.
Biggest job would be painting them , I just replaced a white one with a white one.

Do you know any sites that focus on Berlingo parts and body panels?

Cheers

Google for "car body panels suppliers uk" and hit "more places" on the first panel Google shows. There are hundreds.

One or more of them will be near you. No idea which have Berlingo panels, you'll have to start ringing round or contact them by email. Quite a few in Scotland.

Direct Panels in Glasgow (G20) seem a good place to start. Click here:
