Bottom ball joint
#1
I ended up replacing the knackered offside bottom ball joint on my sons  09 plate  B9 Berlingo yesterday.  I ended up having to remove the hub assembly and get it in the vice to get the old one out.  One thing I discovered also is that i had bought the correct size deep socket and it wouldnt fit because the threaded portion of the joint is slightly bigger than half inch and fouled where the handle for the socket fits.  I ended up making a spanner from an olld box spanner and a socket that I had in my collection of odds and sods.  The track rod end was simple in comparison.  Just have to find out where the power steering is leaking now
