It's the correct offset so it should. However they are only £40 for a brand spanker from the main dealers.

You beat me to it...
Wouldn't pay £30 for a rusty old wheel that you don't know the history of (accident, kerbed, etc.) when a shiny new one is £10 more.
And not sure the offset is correct.

Yes - 15 inch were standard on the 2.0hdi and 1.6 petrol.

It wasn't actually based on the desire / forte. It was the engine that determined the wheel size:
1.4 petrol & 1.9d = 14 inch
1.6 petrol & 2.0hdi = 15 inch
