I'm a fan of Android Auto, and if it's doable at a sensible cost, updating the head unit to a factory one that can run it would be ideal.

You'll notice, as they point out, that the factory set will do apple car play and they have "other options" for android auto from £245 (Chinese aftermarket probably). OEM units don't support android on the B9 versions.
