Berlingos are Exhausting

Clickbaity title. Not sorry.

Following on from my thought that the gear cables being next to the exhaust was a poor idea, it ocurred to me that maybe there's some shielding missing.

I'll have a crawl underneath at the weekend to look for any missing bits, but does anybody know if the front section of the "transmission" tunnel sould have any heat shielding, especially the part where the gear cables are?

I think mine is shielded all the way along the tunnel from when it was on the ramps getting mot'd, just glanced up though when I went in to speak to the guy.

Looks like there should be a full-length exhaust shield under there, there's a row of threaded posts along each side of the tunnel, exactly where you would expect them to be.

Yeah I'm sure mine is shielded front to back.
