Are C4 Picasso front discs same as B9?
#1
Hi, I ran the 2011 Berlingo 2 through the test yesterday. Few small things wrong.

I replaced my rear brake discs and pads prior and my handbrake is now great and brakes seem fine. However, they say I need new front brake discs too. The calipers may be ok, there is no binding at the moment. There is a cracked spring on the front driver side too needs replacing.

I have a 2007 and 2010 Picasso C4 Xsara. The 2007 was my 1st C4 and I recently got the 2010 one and kept the 2007 as a donor for parts. But a few weeks ago one of the torsion bars went in the rear axle of the 2010 and I had to get it recovered home. I have yet to swap the donor axle into it from the 2007, no time to do it. So, I bought the Berlingo about a month ago but with paperwork arriving late etc., I only have it on the road about a week now.

I think I read somewhere that the Berlingo was designed around the C4 platform.

I am wondering if the front discs, pads, calipers etc.  are the same for the C4 and the B9 (second gen) Berlingo?

I put had a very new set of discs/pads on the 2007 car that only had few weeks driving on them, if they would fit I could swap them. The van seems to be braking fine with what is in it but I have to get the retest in next 3 weeks.  Also, are the front springs the same?

I have to do these part swaps outside as my garages are full at the moment with projects, so will have to wait for a dry day, whenever that will be!!!!!!!!!

Do any of you happen to know?

I don't *know*, but it looks highly likely.

Springs are less likely as length and rate can vary even though the spring fits in the space, but it is possible.

Look up the fitments for both vehicles, compare part numbers. I'm doing it backwards, looking up mine and seeing if the C4 is also mentioned.

tbh, I've found more success using the ZF, Gates, LUK, Febi and Meyle catalogues to find the right parts, than relying on parts factors - they got both the timing belt and clutch wrong on my recent orders, despite being given reg plate, chassis number and engine code.
