Seatbelt Differences
#1
Hi All,
I have a 2014 LHD EU spec Multispace & I need to replace my seatbelts as the pretensioners have been fired, the part number of my Driver's side (LHS) one is 98025582XX, for some reason these are much more expensive on eBay than 98025583XX, everything seems to be the same with the exception of the pre-tensioner part, does anyone know what the difference is or does anyone have access to Citroen's system to see if these are just a supersession, please?

Can't help you there, but there are companies that will repair your seatbelt unit, eg, https://airbagteam.com/product/category-...lt-repair/

They do list a specific repair for the NS belt, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/225768259492

Probably cheaper than a scrapyard one from what I can see.

Thanks, but my driver's side belt (LHS) is a bit tired, so I want to replace it with a passenger side belt from a RHD car, so that it's had less use.  I'll bear this in mind for the passenger side though.

Thanks for the link, but most of the options have part numbers in a different format, the only one that's showing in the same format is the 98025582XX, the 98025583XX number is not featured anywhere.

Incidentally, do you know what the "until/since OPR------" relate to, is it chassis number or something else, thanks?

The OPR number is code for the build date . It is found on the sticker ( R/hand Drive model ) on the drivers door frame. Presuming yours is a left hand drive then it will be on the drivers door frame (r/h side ) ( I think)

98025583XX if for left seat on right hand drive car with no passenger airbag.

No airbag means no left front airbag, as passenger sits on left on RHD cars  Exclamation
