Seem a bit expensive for what they are, but then I suppose compared to the price of a new or repaired bumper!!!!

What kind of bumper protector are you referring to? Maybe I missed something.

Hello Andy-womble.
It's not expensive - £44.09+£7.64.
One or two years ago dealer's price was more than 200 Euro.
No, as I understand this protector disappeared from catalogue.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the link. Not a lot of detail about what it's made of or how it mounts. If it's just a strip of thin plastic then I'd think that is expensive as well. If it's metal, then maybe.

pk7478,

€200 ?? What is/was this thing made out of? I'd expect titanium for that kind of money.

3rensho. I suppose this must be made from gold for that kind of money Smile
It's just a plastic stripe with adhesive layer

pk7478,

Just a thin piece of ABS plastic. Thinking logically, it cannot physically be made too thick as the gap between the bottom of the door and the flat top of the bumper is not that large anyway.
I believe it is held in place by (reccommended) double sided adhesive tape made by 3M company.

Maybe those who know me are correct in their assumption that I really have got short arms and deep pockets!!!

Andy. PSA do not use 3M's adhesive tape. It's not Porsche Smile
