When I manoeuvre at low speeds and/ or am parking the steering can knock and clunk sometimes. What would be the first thing to check would you have thought? It happens mostly when using full lock (or close) and the returning to center.
Many thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was under the impression that CV joints just cause noise when you're going along and then on bends. This is when stationary. What are droplinks please? How do I go about investigating them? Thanks again.

OK, thanks everyone. Does anyone know how I should go about testing for these things? What's the first port of call? I am more than capable of doing the work and researching how to replace certain parts, it's the diagnosis I always seem to struggle with. Your help is much appreciated. All the best.
