INTERIOR LED STROBE
#1
I bought some LED 501 bulbs from Halfrauds and replaced the 3 that are in the front interior light, with the engine on they are fine but after around 5 seconds after turning the engine off the middle one starts to strobe. the 2 map light ones are ok as they dont work with out the engine running, does the car reduce the supply voltage to the lights after the ngine is switched off? can these be replaced or are we stuck with the yellow light from the original bulbs?

Thanks for any help

Yep, the eco mode kicks in and cuts the power to the inside and the BSI starts to check what is going on with the weird bulb readings from the LEDs, then they won't go off. The interior light circuit drops to 8v when not running and the eco mode is active.

All lighting is powered from the BSI itself, not a switch or a fuse. The switches just signal the BSI that you want the lights on. LEDs can be a problem in these vehicles.
