I'm new to this forum I've recently purchased a 2007 m59 Berlingo 1.9d, I'm nearing completion of puttin the dash back in after replacing the heater matrix and I'm having trouble getting power to the blower motor, I've checked the fuses etc, found fuse f22 blown but I don't think it has anything to do with the blower, replaced it others are ok, also checked the connections to the resistor and it's not getting any power either it may have been resolved in another thread but just thought I would ask, any help much appreciated. I've also come across a mystery plug which I don't know what it connects to if anyone can shed light on where it goes, it could be my problem, images should be below, many thanks again.

So I'm just wanting to check a couple of things,
From using the drawings kindly sent through by Sol I'm finding that I am getting no power at all at fuse f18 in the BSM, relay 3 controls this.
Am I right in saying those relays are soldered directly to the circuit board in the BSM unit?
Has anyone had to replace that specific relay before because there was no power to f18 or will I need to look at the signals coming from the ignition switch to activate the relay?

The fuse (F18) in the engine bay fusebox (not the BSI) powers the contacts of the relay R3, which is in the engine bay fusebox bottom layer. It is not marked or identified.
Fuses always power relay contacts not the other way round except for main power relays, which would themselves be fed with a large fuse prior to the power relay itself.
I'll pull the diagrams of the fan circuit, but there is a main fuse (MF8 in the base of the fusebox under the top layer) prior to that one which may be blown, but it will also feed many other things so more things should be wrong. Horn, rear wash wipe, low speed cooling fan, etc. would all be down if MF8 is blown.

The usual fault in the fan not working (blower that is) is the resistor pack gets burned out inside. Have you swapped that yet?

Yeah the first symptom is only one or two speeds work but then it fails completely. I've had to swap mine on more than one van. About £15 sees a new one and normally that's all it is. The power goes to the resistor first, then the motor and then to ground.
