Multi function display erratic
#1
The central multi function display in my Berlingo became erratic a few days ago.   It was only showing the current fuel consumption and the figures were unreal.   Also the button on the end of the lighting stalk was not responding in terms of changing the type of info.    I read that disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes might fix the problem so I tried that.   On reconnecting the display now shows a time(which changes as expected but is not the right time), the correct outside temperature and "January 2007".     Any suggestions to get it working properly again?

If its a B9 berlingo the time is set through the radio .

We don't know what model you have so cant really tell anything else. The reg year or age will help

It doesn't have the original radio so I have accepted that the date time could not be changed. however I have found the fuel figures useful. It is a 2009 Multi Space Berlingo.

The display doesn't change info sections with the button on the lighting stalk, it's the button on the end of the indicator stalk which does this. The left one is for voice assistant when the factory Bluetooth is fitted. Otherwise it has no function.

To reset the long term trip, fuel and distance readouts, press and hold the button on the end of the indicator stalk until the display resets, while the engine is running. It will then count from scratch as if it were new.
