I have a 2019 Berlingo Multispace, current shape. I drive a lot on dark country roads, and could do with better main beams. It currently has Philips X-Treme Vision 150 H1s fitted, but they're not as bright as the Xenon mains fitted as standard to my 2010 Volvo C70. I suspect the problem might be the actual glass enclosure on the Berlingo. Any recommendations for road legal brighter main beams bulbs?

There are also third-party wire looms available.
On my old M49 I had one that was made up of thicker wire and some relays.
Wires hooked directly to the battery, there was a H4 bulb-shaped connector you plugged into the regular connector behind a headlight, and two new headlight connectors.
Because the wire was thicker, and went directly to the lights(just passing through the relays also mounted in the engine compartment) you had less of a voltage loss than with the regular wiring. And yeah, it made a visible difference with H4 bulbs.
