Air bag warning light

My K9 air bag light occassionally shows on start up but always disappears after a mile or two. My first thought was to open and spray the connections under the front seats with switch cleaner but I'm not sure how to separate the big yellow plugs. Has anybody successfully disconnected these plugs? How do the separate? Thanks

After examining the plug closely and looking online I can answer my own question for the benefit of others. The photo illustrates the two halves of the plug; the lever can be moved after pressing the small tag. The action of the lever is to move the two halves apart (or closer in the other direction). Cycling the lever without separating the two halves has the effect of rubbing the electrical terminals together helping their continuity.  If there is a poor contact here this may help.
