Hello, my beringo van 1.9 2006 enterprise is having a very low idle speed when i slow down or stop at junctions, and if i dont touch throttle slightly it stalls, i read on one of these forums that it could be choke staying on too long?? I adjusted what i think was the choke cable (next to throttle cable) which helped in morning when engine was cold, but still does it when the engine is hot after half an hours drive.:brickwall:. Is it sticking, should i replace cable and are they easy to do for an beginner???? Please help its driving me mad van is spot on apart from this. Thanks Barry.

I had a similar problem on a xsara and it was the idle speed control valve or I think they can also be called throttle potentiometer, obviously don't think this is the problem without investigating further first but I hope it leads to the rectification of your problem
