FIRST SIGHTING OF NEW BERLINGO
#31
Finally godot arrives!

Now thats different. We would struggle to be more pleased. So far it all works and drives really well. All round a more refined drive than our Mk2 and seems to have all the sprightliness of our old car just, well, bigger!

There were one or two things to be ironed out, like the boot liner and so far have struggled to find the toolkit but I dare say its there, just not where the manual says it should be! There are hidey holes a plenty to stash stuff and I dare say would be a customs officers playground, but so far this has eluded me. I will have to send the sniffer dogs in.

Let me know if you want more photos.

should be under the drivers seat. move it all the way forward and theres a cubby hole.

Yours must have been one of the sillier requests they've had. Mrs G appreciated it to, as did both MiniGs [Smile]

My toolkit is fitted under the floor under the passenger seat. There is a compartment which is quite difficult to see. There is a duplicate cubby hole under the drivers seat.

Passenger seat fully forward

And that's just where I found it, under the passenger seat.
I'd better read up on what these twiddly bits are supposed to help with, especially the chromed rod with the 360 degree twist in it. Worked out the modutop bar turner and the articulated wheel wedge but again, being a "bear of little brain" I will resort to the manual for assistance and hope this time it is a tad more authoritative.

No purpose built slot for the manual and service records any more but there's a hole just the right size in the modutop storage forward of the translucent bit.

Lastly, Thanks for everyone putting up with my rants this last 14 weeks and being so helpful and far more patient than me!

I think the rod your talking about with the twist is to help remove rear lights
