2009 Berlingo Non Start anti Theft Active
#1
Hi All

I have a 2009 Berlingo 1.6 Hdi non start - Anti theft active

Faults Codes

BSI Fault Code F4BA - Immobilser fault

All other modules have no faults detected

I had the key tested by a locksmith which is working fine

I have changed the ring around the ignition

Still transponder not detected

The only thing that the van is doing strange is bringing on the Dip beam as soon as the ignition is turned on ( the relay in the BSI clicks as soon as the key is turned on )

Have done the BSI reset which has made no difference

Dont know what to do next, all fuses are OK

Appreciate any advice

Is the car battery OK? A failing battery on the Berlingo can give all sorts of weird faults.
