I have posted the announcement of what the Red OBD adaptor and OBD Ultra App are, in every model section at the top. Also shown below at post #4 for info. This is the best thing to come along for a long time. Links to buy the adaptor at a fantastic forum discounted price, and to get the free app, are in that post.
********************************
Ok folks, this thread is for OBD Red comments and questions. No fault diagnosis on the vehicles in this thread please, but I'm thinking compatibility, fault codes recognised, coverage, usage, testing etc.
Thoughts, comments, observations all welcome.
If you haven't seen or read my announcement, it is now shown at post #4 below (thanks to @ notsofast for pointing out an announcement bulletin doesn't go to all users)
Please do NOT post here with things like "my ECU is faulty, Ultra OBD says "Injection Calculator voltage fail" - what could be wrong with my ECU?
You can post things like "my ECU is faulty, Ultra OBD says code P2235 not recognised, please submit a report by clicking here" so I have done so, awaiting feedback from OBD Red admin.
So, crack on and enjoy a new era of pocket diagnostics that actually works, and on all systems too. Brought to you by THE BEST Berlingo forum on the planet.
More great news - the ULTRA OBD app is available for Android AND iOS - meaning they have the identical functionality and both work perfectly in conjunction with the RED OBD adapter. Get the adaptor and the app for whichever phone model you have, and let's see some posts here!
Feel free to ask questions, suggest features, alert the developer to problems, anything related to the adaptor, the software and using it on your car or van.
Both Android AND iPhone are fully supported. Search "Ultra OBD" in your app store.

Sorry @ notsofast & @ jemselectrical, I assumed these announcements went to all, my apologies. If they're mods only, then that's not much use. Here is that announcement in full:
"From Sol: Hi all, I have exciting news.
As you all know, there were no aftermarket OBD tools at a reasonable price, which worked on PSA vehicles and in particular, the Berlingo.
I have been working behind the scenes with a major supplier of diagnostic equipment and that is about to change for you all. The makers have developed a pocket sized adaptor called OBD Red and I have been testing it for them on the B9. It is a game-changer.
Diagnostics, to deep BSI level on ALL subsystems is working, and I can confirm, is the best I have yet to see. It even clears faults that DiagBox was unable to remove without further module programming. This is unbelievably good.
I have negotiated a discount for you of 15% on an already great price. You buy directly from them, I am not involved in the transaction.
You need to get one. Seriously.
Ok, here is the link to the Google app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...s.obdultra
And here is the online store to buy the bluetooth OBD Red adaptor - use code BERLINGO_UK_23 to get the discount. Standard price is around 35 Euros but that can and will change slightly as time goes on. HOWEVER No import fees or duty to pay, they will ship each unit directly to you.
https://shop.obd.red/en/products/red-obd-adapter
Read up on the adaptor: (does way more than Citroen too - many makes and models are covered with more to be added)
https://www.obd.red/
Get the app, get the adaptor and do your own code scanning and clearing. This works on all systems from ABS to Sunroof control and everything in between. The vendor will also respond quickly to bug reports or missing features, there is more in the app than I have described. Basic app functions work with other adaptors but you need the OBD Red to get the deep diagnostics.
Let me know how you get on. I've started a thread in an appropriate non-model section and invite the OEM to get involved and answer questions if possible.

Yes, same here, no access to the announcement and as per the other post on the thread, what is this new OBD red and how much is it? Doing a quick search only seems to bring up a lot of German sites and not anything on sale in the UK?

Top man! Thanks for the heads-up on this and for being involved in the testing, so at least we know it's going to work on the Berlingo! I've never got around to getting a diagbox as I didn't really see it as cost effective given that my lingo is now 15 years old but having to pay out for a code read just last week to ascertain which ABS sensor was playing up, it's definitely something I think I will invest in, especially if it can be used on other vehicles as well.

I've ordered one, it was about £26 including shipping to UK with the discount applied. I'll report back on how I get on once I get it.

Excellent. I think you will be amazed and for the price, just how good this thing is. It's blown me away. This is a seriously clever bit of electronics and the software is superb, and very easy to use.
Now.....more news...
We will have one of the developers on as a member, he has joined today but has not yet activated his account.
(They are very nice folk so please welcome them, I know this will be a huge help to all of you when using the app and adaptor.)
First one is called @ ultraobd and he will post up soon to say hi. He will be very keen to get feedback from folk, on all models of Berlingo, especially the M59 and K9 models. He is the app developer for Ultra OBD itself (the clue is in the username of course).
He is a great guy and will be a superb resource to have on our forum. Please all give him a warm welcome.
What a day, full of good stuff eh? Don't say I never get you anything. (Lol.)
I have my own Red OBD, and the app on my Samsung S22. I never leave the house without it now. Seriously.
