Exciting news - Red OBD !
#1
Hi all, I have exciting news.

As you all know, there were no aftermarket OBD tools at a reasonable price, which worked on PSA vehicles and in particular, the Berlingo.

I have been working behind the scenes with a major supplier of diagnostic equipment and that is about to change for you all. The makers of Carly, have developed a pocket sized adaptor called OBD Red and I have been testing it for them on the B9. It is a game-changer.

Diagnostics, to deep BSI level on ALL subsystems is working, and I can confirm, is the best I have yet to see. It even clears faults that DiagBox was unable to remove without further module programming. This is unbelievably good.

I have negotiated a discount for you of 15% on an already great price. You buy directly from them, I am not involved in the transaction.

You need to get one. Seriously.

Ok, here is the link to the Google app:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...s.obdultra

And here is the online store to buy the bluetooth OBD Red adaptor - use code BERLINGO_UK_23 to get the discount. Standard price is around 35 Euros but that can and will change slightly as time goes on. HOWEVER No import fees or duty to pay, they will ship each unit directly to you.

Read up on the adaptor: (does way more than Citroen too - many makes and models are covered with more to be added)

Get the app, get the adaptor and do your own code scanning and clearing. This works on all systems from ABS to Sunroof control and everything in between. The vendor will also respond quickly to bug reports or missing features, there is more in the app than I have described. Basic app functions work with other adaptors but you need the OBD Red to get the deep diagnostics.

Let me know how you get on. I've started a thread in an appropriate non-model section and invite the OEM to get involved and answer questions if possible.
