Which Lexia please
#1
Hi All
Wonder if somebody could point me to the best (eBay) Lexia I need to purchase for my 2014 Berlingo Van please. Need to get to the bottom of my, “fan staying on” & (ABS) issues.
Thanks in advance

Maybe look into this, as it might be a cheaper alternative?

Thanks buddy,
I already have a  TopDon scanner & wurth snooper, and ideally want the specific Citroen software as I want to add cruise control etc in the future

The magic words on eBay are "full chip lexia", which will bring up a selection of sellers.

Top Tip - don't bother trying to install the software directly onto a laptop, it's a PITA. Either choose a seller that provides it already installed in a virtual machine, or use the VM images that are floating around on here. Much, much easier. There's threads around here on that, but it's not complicated. Install VMware Workstation, add the VM image, say "I moved it" when starting, and map the USB device through to the VM.

I increased the CPU count and RAM to 4 and 4GB from the seller's original, and it seems to work nicer than the defaults it was supplied with (2 and 2GB).

Do bear in mind the Chinese knockoffs have some limitations - anything requiring the tool talk back to Citroen is out, so coding with later versions of software won't work. Again, plenty reading on other threads.
