The vans runs lovely, but I'm still having major issues with the additive pump. Everytime I refuel I get the risk of particle filter clogging. Its driving me mad! I upgraded to diagbox 7.82 and it finds the additive ecu. When you try to pack repair it says ecucmm error. I've tried all 3 of the parts listed and everyone comes back the same error. So must be some communication error. I can prime the pump under the engine ecu fine and it clicks away.
I'm thinking possibly the connector or cable to the additive pump. Can you purchase a new connector or should I try some contact cleaner and check the cable for corrosion? Also what's the possibility it could be a fuse? Which ones would you check? Other option is to find the additive ecu and pull and resit the plug hoping to reset it. I'm at my whits ends and trying to avoid taking it back to the garage again. This is the second pump that's been put on and same issue as the first. So must be a communication problem somewhere?
