Red OBD for M59 vehicles - Have you tried yours yet ??

Has anyone with an M59 bought a Red OBD ?

Have you tried it with your vehicle yet ?

Does it work ??

My reason for asking is I cannot get mine to work with my 1.6 Hdi 2007 M59 ( using i-phone )

It " connects " ... really slowly 
It OBD scans ......again really slowly

It also fails to find any faults yet I currently have a dash EML fault light for " antipolution " and my other cheap code reader tells me p0087 / 93  so something is wrong somewhere ?

For context I tried the Red OBD unit on my 2014 MX5 and it connects quickly, scans quickly and also shows live data

So the question is as above, do you have an M59 and does your Red OBD work on it ??  Looking forward to your experiences

Yeah, errrrr, limited success at the moment, I'm going to give it benefit of the doubt and have another go with it before I say anything.

I can't get it to do anything my £10 Aldi code reader can't do

^^^ Yours clearly does better than mine, I have a genuine fault yet the RED cannot even see it !!!
