Hi all,
I've got a 2004 2.0 HDi Berlingo, MOT coming up and I can't shake the dreaded Engine Management Light relating to the EGR valve (P0402 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Excessive Detected/EGR Flow Incorrect).
Attempted fixes so far:
- New Solenoid
- Removed EGR and cleaned with EGR solvent.
What I'm thinking of doing:
- Will check vaccum line leading to EGR (and T-junction?).
- Blank off EGR
The car is driving perfectly, starts fine, ever so slightly slower when very cold. Has previously gone into limp mode because of the fault but not for 6 months and even then was only intermittent.
Am I barking up the right tree? Any advise on the whole subject would be great, got 3 weeks to get myself an MOT!
Thanks in advance.
