continuing the resurection of my M49 double door
So having sorted the wiring, it runs...
but we have a couple of error codes....
P0403 - Exhaust Gas recirculation Loop - Open circuit
P0100 -Airflow Meter (Bank 2) / Air Mass Meter (Bank 2) = Signal too low
Any obvious things that could cause this and possible solutions....
Really looking forwards to getting my Blingo on the road again....
had some time to get it home from my friends yard... gaud it runs rough and there is a sort of ticking sound from the OS of the engine bay...
I would say if it were petrol it was running on 2 1/2 cylinders.. seems ok when reved....
will put all the interior back in before investigating further
Well the sun came out todsy so I decided to take a look.....
The Error Codes seem to indicate MAF/EGR
Couldn't belive that they would suddenly fail having sat indoors for quite a while....
So bonnet up and started looking for loose connections and any signs...then I noticed... the jubilee Clip holdimng the intake pipe to the MAF was loose, it had been undone to get the airfilter box top off as the bolts needed better access...
2 mins to find a screwdriver, 1 min to tighten....
Started up... perfect!!!
So much for diagnostics!!!
Interior to go back in now....
