What mileage should the cam belt be replaced at? My books say to look at the servicing schedule, which doesn't exist. The previous owner, as I've just called said they didn't think it would be about 160,000 miles. And a garage I've got locally, says 110,000 miles. This has just left me confused.
Before I go and cry in the corner, would one of you fine gentlemen (or ladies as I assume there are some here) please put my mind at rest and point me in the right direction.
The vehicle spec is: 625 enterprise L1 Blue HDI.

Most say 100,000 milers or 10 years whichever comes first.
So where does this bit go then ?

Ffrenchie, the paperwork I picked up yesterday was 110k or 120 months. Which seems to fit with what you've said. I've sent a message to my old man, as he's helping me a lot financially at the moment, just awaiting his response. Technically my van is his, he bought it and registered it in my name. So I suspect that he'll be wanting to protect his investment.

Legend has it that water pumps can fail well before the belt so I'd be of a view to knock at least a third off those limits.
I saw a YouTube vid of a Peugeot that got wrecked when a cheap replacement pump seized and destroyed the cambelt
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

Changed my 17plate van at 96k miles on recommendation from on here and local garage, my belt looked OK but have heard of some snapping around 100k! Changed the waterpump and auxiliary belt whilst there
