I have a 2016 Peugeot Partner 1.6 BlueHDi which my Lexia no longer wants to talk to and I have not been able to correct the issue.
Having had the Adblue tank problems, Nox sensor replacement and now (possibly) and Eolys issue, I needed a tool to save me paying £50 a time to diagnose or clear faults.
My little obd2 reader would clear the Adblue faults, but not the Nox sensor ones and it doesn't even see the Eolys codes.
I also found Lexia / Diagbox pretty horrible to use, so I've been looking for an alternative.
None of the manufacturers I contacted would confirm that their tool would reset / initialise / replace / prime the Nox sensor, Eolys pump / tank, or the Adblue system.
I want to thank Tricoloured (FCF) for his help and advise, regarding those functions on the Foxwell NT510 Elite, which I appreciate greatly.
There are loads of video reviews of dozens of scan tools online, but apart from Jimmy O'Reilly, no-one seems to diagnose PSA cars on camera and he only uses higher end equipment.
After much searching I saw the Topdon Artidiag800BT for 20% off (until Thursday 15th Feb 2024) on EBay, so I got it for £197.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133773717133
It arrived today and was quickly in use after faffing about with the registration.
It picked up the VIN in seconds and the health scan found the temporary Eolys faults in the ECU.
A quick look through the 28 Maintenance / reset functions and I could do what I needed to the Eolys tank, pump and pouch.
It also had the required options for the Nox system and the Adblue system.
The only thing it doesn't have is bidirectional control, which the Foxwell tools have.
The Foxwells also have a few more reset functions and lifetime free upgrades for one car brand
The Topdon is 28 reset functions and lifetime free upgrades for all cars of all brands.
I'm sure to find things that Diagbox could do, but the Topdon is doing exactly what I want at the moment, in a fast and easy to use package.
As a bonus it has also allowed me to disable stop start, so we'll see if that sticks.
I'll add anything else here as it presents itself.

Edit Reason: I found the 20%
)
Thank you, I'm tempted.

I was originally considering the Mucar CDE900PRO for £99, as it seemed that it was a significantly cheaper option.
The Thinkcar website clearly stated that for another $59, it would do all diagnostics and all resets for one brand of cars.
After I had paid for it however, I saw the ebay advert state that resets were NOT included, so I "tried*" to cancel it.
So to buy a fully functioning Mucar scan tool would have been £99 for the ODB unit, + $59.95 for one car, or +$99.95 for all cars + $79.95 for the resets.
Bringing the cost to £211.34 for one car, or £243.18 for all cars
Not such a budget deal after all.
*They posted the Mucar out today. 2 days after I cancelled, so I will have to request to return it once it arrives.

Very interesting, i would much rather buy a tool like this that comes recommended and it covers the eolys tank, nox and dpf which are probably going to need sorting and gives you the ability of doing it yourself. Thankyou for posting this im sure a lot will find it useful.

The Eolys tank throws warnings when I top up with diesel and the Topdon has kept them cleared during a recent 900 mile trip.
Also just a quick update to say that the stop/start is indeed fully disabled.
The Topdon has done exactly what I needed it for on the Partner and will also be used to (hopefully) program the key for the wifes Agila (Suzuki)
Very happy with it.
BTW. What's happened to Zion / Sol?
I hope that he's okay.
He was always on here answering my silly questions.

Chrome Molly,
He bid farewell to his last Berlingo a while ago. He said he most likely won't be back on, or may pop in occasionally, but I don't know how often that'll be if he does. I miss him too, he was a fountain of knowledge.

Thanks Paul

Hi Paul.
Yes it can do a forced regen, but no, I haven't topped up the Eolys fluid, or replaced the tank / pump yet, though the Topdon can carry out the commands for refilling, replacing the parts and priming the pipes.
I just cleared the faults and reinitialised the tank to silence the dashboard warning during our trip away.
The faults listed on mine are U0118 - P1434 - P1435, which could be the CAN, pump, tank or fluid, so I need to have a closer look at the live data to confirm which.
Jimmy O'Reilly has loads of video's on Adblue, Nox and Eolys on PSA cars (which is a bit worrying)
Here's one for refilling, though it can allegedly be done without removing the tank.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c56BO8kusik&t=1s
Luckily the Eolys system is not as ridiculously overpriced as the Adblue system.
Tank should be about £133 to £160
3l of fluid about £65 - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284644319246?
This is also a good one, with no "proper" resolution.

The first comment from EngineEarring is very useful.
EDIT. I've just seen that the Artidiag800BT, is almost identical to the Thinkcar Thinkscan Max, but at a lower cost.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve just bite the bullet and bought one myself as eBay again had 20% off so got it for £192, it looks like it’s able to do a fair amount of things like code injectors ect so I’ll just have a little go when it arrives,
