Leak down tester
#1
A quick query, has anyone managed to use an old injector adapted to take an air line and gauge to use as a cylinder leak down tester ? I had this thought as normally you would go through the heater plug holes, and tbh they’re a pain in the arse to get to on the 2.0 hdi . I put a wanted ad on here if anyone has an old injector they don’t need to have a go at fabricating one. Your thoughts ?

I have used for many years tank pressure sensor + arduino + sd card for  "looking" exaust gases. (25usd total)
It shows worn rings, worn valves and overall condition of engine. In some cases it is far better than ordinary leek down test.

This is commercial version of : https://www.picoauto.com/products/pressu...tic-sensor

It is not for mechanically oriented guys. You have to have a lot of electronic knowledge. If you want to go that route shout...
