Identifying Electrical Fault :-( Work Around Advice
#1
Hi all,

I've got an electrical fault which is draining my battery over a week of not using the MPV.  Any recommendations on how to find it?  I was wondering whether there was a gadget I could use to find current flowing one of the fuses?  The van is an ex council MPV and the AA dude said it might be a tracker... where would that be?

As a work around the AA dude told me to disable the positive when I'm not going to use it.  He recommended I don't do it when I've used the remote as that will activate the alarm and the immobiliser.  However that'll mean the two back doors will be open as I can't seem to find a way to lock the doors from the inside... any ideas?

Thanks,

:-)

The basic answer - put the car to sleep (lock it, close all the latches, etc), and test for voltage drop across each fuse,
