intermittent right indicator problem
#1
Totally random, happens in all weather conditions. Sometimes woks perfectly.

left indicator works properly all the time but indicate right but the left might come on instead, not good on the motorway.

Any ideas please

I'd be having a good poke around the indicator stalk as a starting point.

As has been stated in the previous reply from @shtu start with the indicator stalk, take off the steering wheel surround [from memory there are three torx head screws to undo] and then access the switch. Try spraying some electrical contact cleaner such as servisol on the electrical connector and into the switch. Do NOT use WD40 or such like as that can leave a residue that can cause electrical problems.

a squirt of compressed air down the stalk and got a straw fore the contact cleaner, got it inside and saturated the switch.

Done a few trips and not wishing to tempt fate problem solved.

thanks for all ideas.
