Hi all,
I’ve got a 2006 Citroen Berlingo 1.9D DW8 with Lucas pump.
Now the issue I’m having is that when the timing belt is under tension, the injector pump pulley/sprocket appears to skew slightly, this in turn causes the timing belt to run off the outer edge of the pulley/sprocket.
I have replaced the water pump, tensioner and idlers and the timing belt itself, all tensioned up to spec. Been over the whole thing about 10 times now and can’t see any issues myself.
Any suggestions please? Have tried looking into the potential skew of the pump pulley/sprocket but can’t seem to find any information. Obviously due to the nature of the issue, I can’t drive it to a garage to take a look and am very reluctant to try a new pump yet due to the pricey nature of them.
Thanks in a advance!
