Wiring to Driver's Seat Belt Buckle
#1
THe wiring to my driver's seat belt buckle has broken very close to the buckle making repair difficult. I need to reconnect the wiring to the buckle but can see no obvious way of opening the buckle as the usual screws are not there. I guess the two halves must be glued together. Has anyone successfully opened a seat belt buckle on a Berlingo?

A big flat head screwdriver and some courage. It will come apart. I had to open mine to transplant into my Range Rover seats I fitted.

I managed to repair mine (without opening the buckle up) with some very small crimp connectors reinforced with a blob of solder and covered with two layers of heat shrink tubing. I then secured the wires with cable ties.
It would apear that mine wasn't an isolated incident but I don't understand why the wires should break in this way.

Where they exit the buckle ( as you'll be aware ) there's a tiny cable tie from Factory then an inch or 2 of metal stem before the really heavy duty French securing idea comes into place, electrical tape eh!
