My Citroen Connect App advised me of a new mapping update. So I go to the main Citroen Connect website, insert my VIN Number, it then asks me to use the Update Tool, I do that, it presents the update for mapping, the red progress bar moves slowly, the download is complete and when I hit continue ready to copy to my MacBook, it says Error Reading File. So I attempted this same procedure 5 times and still the same error message in my Mac screen.
I’ve never had a problem with this type of error. I’m just fed up with the Stellantis method for updates. Every time there’s an issue with updates and with the exception of customer service you can’t even call a dedicated Citroen connect department. They then say on screen is £35 to get a dealer to do it! What rubbish!! Any idea if these updates don’t like Mac? What and where error reading file? Thanks guys!
