Berlingo will crank, not run after collision (P0350)

Dear all,

Following a moderate crash (the girlfriend decided to clean up a pole on a badly lit road), the M59 1.4i will not run anymore.

After a tow home, I removed the broken parts (including radiator, cooling fan assembly, and the crankshaft position sensor which had a cracked connector), and replaced the crankshaft position sensor with a new Bosch unit, and reset the inertia switch, thinking that it would surely start right up. It did not.

Check engine light is on, no airbag deployment. Both fuel pump and ignition do not work (no spark over spark plugs, no fuel pressure), however all electrics start right up, and it cranks. When pulling the inertia switch to jump it, I measured only three-ish volts over the connector.

I checked and cleared the codes via a universal OBD interface, and I get a code P0350. I am truly at a loss.

What I have done:
-reset and jumped inertia switch
- checked all fuses including maxi fuses
- checked all connections to the ECU
- checked underneath for loose earth or wire damage, did not see any
- replaced broken crank position sensor

Does anyone have the magic solution? My girlfriend's man would surely appreciate a running car...

Tl;DR:
- Car will crank, not run (no fuel pressure, no spark) following collision which wrecked the radiator and cooling fan
- Error code P0350
- replaced crankshaft sensor already, and jumped inertia switch

Your post made me think about a video I saw a few months back, you might want to watch it:

It looks as if there may be a batch of dodgy Bosch crankshaft sensors around as this guy spent a lot of time/effort on fault finding to find out the the new Bosch sensor fitted wasn't working correctly. He replaced it with a cheaper ERA? one and the 'no crank fault' was cured.

You might be lucky and this is also your problem.

Older French cars had a fuel cut off that cut the power to the fuel pump in an impact.
Also cuts the power if turned upside down if you are disassembling things around the engine bay.
IF yours has one,
It will look like a one inch OXO cube with a rubber button on the top.
Press the rubber button.
