Middle front seat tray

Hi,

Does anyone know how to remove the tray mechanism from the back of the middle front seat? The seats are the extenso modular passenger seats.

I need to fit seat covers, but can't figure out how to get the plastic mechanism off.

I fitted an 8 piece cover set but they all went on without dismantling.
I probably skipped a few tie points but they all stay put
