injector plastic neck broken

injector 4 (far right) the man from the AA spotted it straight away, the orange plastic bit is broken away from the top of the injector, fuel spraying out and once engine up to operating temp gives a nice dry ice effect :t is just floating above the injector 

Just had a service done so bad coincidence, back to garage Monday. can just the orange bit be changed?

From a CSI-Miami style ZOOM! ENHANCE! session against all 4 of those pixels, it looks like the leakoff fitting has snapped, oring failed, something like that.

A new leakoff pipe assembly isn't expensive. eg, first example I found, https://injectionpumps.co.uk/product/inj...injectors/

Complete leak off pipes are cheap on eBay - bought one last October for less than a tenner delivered !

It's a quick and super easy job to fit one - a very lazy ten minutes will see you sorted

if its snapped how do i get get the broken bit in the injector out?

The type of approach I have used for similar situations in the past is to drive a screw into the plastic, and pull it out with a pair of pliers. It won't be a massively tight fit in the injector.

I've no idea if this will work in this situation, use your own judgement.

Obviously, get the retaining clip out of the way first. Ignore the red square, look at the spring cliip on each injector.
