The pedal started sticking on long journeys, I took it apart and looked at the pivot, the 2 parts started binding on each other when getting warm. Had a few goes at fixing it but no improvement. I did a bodge though temporarily to make it safe to drive. I use a piece of thin bungee rubber from the pedal arm to the bottom of the dash, fastened at both ends with cable ties. If I hadnt been a ble to get a new pedal then i could have lived with the bodge

My B9 has a plastic pedal.
Given that price I think I would rather explore my own creativity.
Off at a tangent.I had a C15 that had appalling brakes and during one hair raising incident I pushed so hard on the pedal it snapped a plastic bush
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top
