Broken wheelarch liner.

Explored a pothole too deeply and a chunk of tarmac got intimate

Looked at new ones -£20-30 and nearside ones are nowhere near as plentiful as the offside.

Cut and shaped a piece of old roadworks sign with a blowlamp
Its amazing how many compound contours that can be designed into such a small area.....

There was a good kilogram of wet sand packed into the lower sill recess so Im glad of the opporttunity to clear it out

Tube of sealant and two million cable ties later and it looks as though the job was a good'un

It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

Looks like a job well done. You've earned a cup of strong tea. Both of mine are broken, I've tried to source some replacements, but found the cost not worth it while there's no damage or scrubbing to the wheels. I suspect the biggest expense there was the zip ties.

Haha
Id have found some old cable ties and released the latches if I could have done..

I didn't like the wheel arch itself exposed to that kind of abuse otherwise I would have just let the liner rattle on.

Mine's at the back corner of both front arches. I wish I was in a position to get it sorted, and I'd figure that off a scrap vehicle, they'd get busted coming off, so new would be the only way to go. Or be creative.

Reusing the cable ties is the way forward. I used to be able to use them 5 times before the catch got too brittle.
