Bizzy.
Where in the UK are you?
There may be someone with a diag tool nearby, who could look at the live data.

Thanks for the reply.
When you say live data do you mean that it's possible to collect data as the misfiring occurs when I'm travelling?
I'm in N. Ireland.
BTW roughly how much would it cost to buy the diag. tool? I already have a laptop.

Yes. There is a LOT of data available while the car is running, though it is a bit of an art to know what to look for. Diagbox is not the easiest thing to use, so expect a learning curve.
eBay item 266606992500 is an example of what to buy. "full chip lexia 3" is the magic word.
If you do go this route, don't waste time trying to install the supplied software - grab one of the VM images that are lurking on this site, and use that.
(sorry to keep sounding negative, but diagnosing intermittent faults is a pig of a job for experienced people, so there's no magic bullet here. Hopefully a scan with the right tool reveasl fault codes that the generic tools missed.)

My 2014 Airdream 90 VTR has started misbehaving. When needing to quickly enter a roundabout or quickly turn out from a side road, the engine doesn't respond to the accelerator pedal for a crucial one or two seconds, leaving me at risk of a shunt. I don't get any warning lights, but could this be an injector problem? Mileage is only 51K and otherwise it runs very well, always use Esso supreme diesel and is regularly serviced etc. Any advice welcome.
