Thanks for that Neb, looks like a lot of dismantling to get to the unit. I will post when I have chance to pull it apart.

Here is a page manual on how to do it. 

this is how to install the sub woofer, and amplifier kit.   Just jump to the dashboard part. 
it is in norwegian, but the picture say it all.
