Removing sticker residue

if its on glass, acetone. will wipe any glue residue away.

I ve been there, I feel your pain.
Lighter refill fluid gets works. in factit was the only thing that did work for me.

Lighter fuel is actually awesome for cleaning polished aluminium and chrome and leaves a brill shine.

I've had this problem with stickers on a bike tank, and found that electrical contact cleaner and a soft cloth does a wonderful job.

Off the shelf label remover,  works very well,....
