In the last couple of days, when I set off in the car the screen shows a phone number 1000000 (not sure exactly how many 0s) call in progress. I just need to click on it and press “end call”, but until I do this the radio won’t work.
It’s not really a problem, but does anyone know what is causing it, and how to stop it happening?

Is it a Whatsapp (or other VoIP) call?

No, as far as I can see there is no real call at all: I think it may be a communication glitch of some kind.

Check in the head unit settings if there is something connected via bluetooth. Check on your phone if there is a bluetooth connection to the car. Turn bluetooth off on your phone. Check in your phone history in dialled numbers to see if accidentally it is still trying to ring that number.
No idea what else to check.

Thanks for these suggestions.
My phone does connect to the car by Bluetooth, but dialled numbers only show the calls which I have made. I’ll check the head unit settings when I am next in the car.

Typical! Today there was no call in progress, and the head unit settings showed nothing untoward connected. I’ll try again if it recurs.
