[Engine] HDI injectors failing

Our 1.6 HDI had a failed injector a year ago and now another has failed, the first was #4 then #1.

I have been told by a main dealer that it could be a software issue and I should let them do a diagnostic to see if it needs an update.

My normal local garage can't do this and they say it is a main dealer job.

I have also been told that it might have been caused by the fuel filter (now changed) It's only done 52k miles.

Have any of you had a similar problem?

My injector failed a few weeks ago. My mechanic said that in his experience, I can expect the other three to also fail in the near to midterm future.

I have a 2014 1.6 HDI - 81K. My previous two Berlingos never had an injector fail and went well over 100K. Perhaps more modern injectors are not built to last.

What BHP is your engine, ours is the one with the Garrett turbo 110 bhp, I wonder if different powers have different injectors?
