I need to take off the front calipers, and I was hoping I can clamp the rubber hose that goes from the caliper to the metal line. Can these hoses be clamped or are they metal braided?
Thanks

I’ve clamped the standard factory rubber pipes using the small screw type hose clamps. It doesn’t take much pressure to stop fluid flow.

Wedge the brake pedal down an inch with something , this will stops any fluid flow.

Yes but be gentle
Rubber tubes have a small diameter ( 3 mm ) nylon tube moulded inside the outer.
They are robust but be gentle !
