[Steering & Suspension] Partner Escape Front Struts
#1
Can anyone confirm if the Escapade uses the same front struts as the ordinary Partner and Berlingo? I know the springs are longer but information on the Escapade models is a bit sketchy.
Having stripped a front strut down to change the top mount if discovered the bottom spring mount had a rust hole.  My Partner had previously been fitted with the standard Berlingo springs causing it to be a bit nose down so I thought I’d take the opportunity to put the some of the proper springs on.

After an almighty struggle I’ve managed to persuade the first one onto the strut but it doesn’t feel quite right.
I’m ready to tear out what little hair I have left.

If you use the catcar info site, you can put in your VIN number and then you will get parts numbers for parts that fit your vehicle.
