OBD Faults listed - which how to fix?
#1
Driving back from Dartmouth yesterday, a 250 mile trip orange engine fault light appeared and a mapping route to a Citroen garage appeared at 6.30 pm - not really much use to me.
On getting back home these were the permanent faults read:

List produced by Red.OBD scanner
DF3E No communication with telematic ECU
9137 Front right dipped headlamp control fault
P16D6 engine oil deterioration
B1002 ECU internal fault
U1F03 Absence of communication with BSI
U1F03 USB communication deactivated between RCC audio system and telematic unit
B1506 Absence of communication telematic unit
B1003 configuration fault

Only driving problem is feeling an occasional slight hesitation at motorway speeds - but difficult to tell when towing and driving on rough road surface.

Any help appreciated.

Be glad you got home!
I wasted 5 hours to travel 52 miles because of warning lights!

Are these faults that serious? Fortunately the car is still under warranty being just less than 3 yrs old.

I'm surprised about the oil quality as its got a regular service contract; it concerns me that the oil isn't changed frequently enough.

BTW why 5 hours because of lights?

Hi , I told the story about the warning lights under a new thread . "Do things right themselves ?" Basically I had a message to stop the vehicle.

Firstly thank you to those who took the trouble to view my post and replied:

I can confirm the Red.OBD scanner correctly identified codes:
9137 Front right dipped headlamp control fault
P16D6 engine oil deterioration

The others appear to be 'phantom' codes as can sometimes occur.

The codes noted above were confirmed by a Citroen garage, so I believe this information can be relied upon. What's more is that the car didn't really underperform in anyway which is another indication to take into account the codes were phantom.

Overall I am pleased with the scanner and would recommend it. It wont necessarily clear codes but it can give you more information to talk on an informed basis with your service centre.
BTW I paid full price for it having not seen the sticky
